The Windows 7 Desktop
It’s official: I have replaced Vista as my primary OS with Windows 7 RC, the latest pre-release version of Microsoft’s upcoming operating system. I will post my full review shortly, but I can say that it’s extremely stable, compatible, and usable.
If you want to try out the RC for yourself, it will be available to download from Microsoft through July. The RC will start auto-destructing on March 2010, so you’ve got a good ten months to use it before you need to buy the final version.

Continuing through my adventures with Windows 7 beta, I came upon a weird bug today. Something called the Distributed Link Tracking Client crashed. With it, Aero and my Internet connection also went down. The problem fixed itself within a minute. Nothing major, I guess, but it is a beta after all.

I got my hands on one of the Windows 7 beta build 7000 copies. I installed 7 and have been testing it for a few hours. Here are my thoughts: Loved: Windows Explorer feels much faster. Hola otra vez, despues de leer esto me animé e instalé el windows 7 en mi laptop Dell XPS M1330… me pareció excelente y funciona demasiado bien, en comparación al complique de Vista; anda muy ‘suavecito’… en fin, espero tu review

Cómo?!! ¿una científica en computación que no usa Debian? Linux es para los computólogos lo que una residencia en los talleres de Ferrari para un ingeniero automotriz. Cheers!
